B Family and Doyle's First Christmas!

 

This baby is a morning person!  Loved how he smiled the WHOLE time!

 

 

Meet Doyle!  This is Bryson's (my youngest son's) BFF!  They were born 2 weeks apart and we know they will grow up being great friends.  I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy for his first Christmas as well as getting some family pictures for his parents.  His parents are some of our absolute best friends and so it made me so happy to get to do this for them.  We love them!

Next, we went to my home studio and did some Christmas pictures of Mr. Doyle.  I think they turned out SO cute!

The W Family

 

Skittles = Smiles!

It's my new secret weapon!!

 

 

 

 

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family at Lakeside Park in Dallas for a family photo session.  Ashley is the sister of one of my best mommy friends Britney.  I knew if she was anything like Britney that this would be a blast....and it was!!!

 

I used Skittles as bribery....it worked as a charm!  Look at this smile below!

 

 

After we took some family pictures, Avery changed into her princess dress.  This little mama knows how to twirl!

The L Family

 

 

This is one of my favorite families at my new favorite location! 

 

 

I love these people! The L family are the leaders of our lifegroup at Gateway.  Brandon and Vicki have such huge hearts and they truly care about all of us.  We love "doing life" with them!  I was so thrilled to be able to take their family pictures.  They brought their best smiles, a great bench, and a football.....and I was able to capture their love and the fun that they have.

This was my favorite from the entire session.  The first time I looked at my images I totally missed it....mostly because it was a wide shot, crooked and had objects to the side.  Once I cropped it though.....man....love it.

Baby Cason ~ Six days old!

 

 

This baby was the sweetest and sleepiest for me!  Made my job SO easy!!!

 

 

One of my favorite friends became a mommy for the first time!  I was so delighted to get to spend the day with her and her new sweet baby Cason!  Allison did such a great job keeping little man awake before I arrived so he slept basically THE WHOLE TIME!!!!  Not sure how he did that night though. 

 

His mama had some adorable props to use and we were also able to incorporate some of her stylish home accessories in the shoot too. 

 

 

Allison had a wonderful idea for a shot and I love the results. 

 

 

 

And, if this is any indication of how sleepy this little guy is I was able to do my first (successful) composite shot! 

It's not perfect but the results I thought were great! 

 

 

(Disclaimer.....this is a composite shot....two images merged in photoshop so please do not attempt this pose unless you have extensive newborn experience and understand composites.  Safety first!!!)

 

 

 

Allison, I am so happy for you guys and I can't wait to see Cason as he grows.  He is precious (and I Love him) !!!!
